About the Spa
Luxury Organic Spa Retreat in Western North Carolina
The Spa at ASIA is for registered, overnight guests of the inn. We are not a day spa open to the public.
At ASIA Bed and Breakfast Spa, we pioneered the small B&B spa concept in Asheville, creating an intimate resort experience unlike any other. It’s the perfect spa getaway for couples and friends, mothers and daughters, brides to be and their partners in crime.
All of our spa services are enjoyed in separate spaces. Body treatments take place in our Couples Massage room. No one comes in and sets up shop in your guest room.
The cedar lined Finnish Sauna offers room for up to six, but guests of ASIA Bed and Breakfast Spa can use it in complete seclusion for two. Just lock the door, it's all yours. The ancient health benefits of sauna, combined with the courtyard’s outdoor shower, for alternating sessions of hot and cold, promote circulation and detoxification.
Our European Steam Shower promotes respiratory health and glowing, hydrated skin. It is a misty pleasure to experience and an ideal pre-massage therapy, warming the body and loosening the muscles.
ASIA uses 100% organic massage products for all body treatments.
Treatments are priced per person.
Spa treatments are scheduled prior to your arrival to ensure you get the appointment times that best fit your schedule. We recommend spa treatments be added to your reservation at the time of booking.
If you are making a reservation less than 7 days before arriving and would like to add spa treatments, please call first to check availability of spa times and appointments. If you decide to add spa treatments after your arrival we will do our absolute best to schedule them.
ASIA Essential Massage – 60 minutes $120 / 90 minutes $175
The minimum amount of time needed to release tension and begin to feel your body relax. An integrative Swedish and relaxation massage leaves the body relaxed and supple. Treatment concludes with steaming aromatic towels.
Deep Tissue Massage – 75 minutes / $165
Our Deep Tissue Massage is similar to a therapeutic sports massage, working the deeper layers of muscle and fascia to provide relief from tightness and soreness. A little more time on the table and perfect for those that like stronger pressure. Treatment concludes with steaming aromatic towels.
Hot Stone Massage – 75 minutes / $165
Heated basalt stones push the heat and relief deeper into the muscles to enhance the therapeutic and calming effect of this integrated massage. The treatment concludes with steaming aromatic towels.
The Body Meltdown – 120 minutes / $230
Our Signature treatments begins with an invigorating dry exfoliation to buff the skin and remove dead cells. Next, your hands and feet are treated to a soothing organic Shea Butter wrap, where they remain to soften and hydrate for the duration of your Meltdown. You are then plied with a 85-90 minute integrated relaxation massage that concludes with a full body cleansing with aromatic hot towels. The exfoliating gloves are yours to keep.
Dead Sea Mud Mask & Body Cocoon – 75 minutes / $170
Your skin is buffed and dry exfoliated to remove dead cells. Dead Sea Clay is then painted on your body and you are cocooned in cotton linens and wool blankets. An invigorating foot, hand and scalp massage follows while the clays draw the impurities and toxins from your skin. Clay is removed with aromatic hot towels.
Prenatal Massage – 60 minutes / $125
You and your precious cargo are fully supported and cocooned while on the table and extra attention is given to areas that fatigue, like the lower back and shoulders. Our therapists are fully trained in prenatal massage and are eager to address any needs or concerns you might have. Emerge from this re-balancing therapy feeling renewed.
Our therapists are some of the best in Asheville. We should know, we’ve “interviewed” many. We only work with fully licensed, qualified and insured individuals. All of our colleagues maintain their own practices, including practices at other spas in town, and some are alumni of the most celebrated spas in the country, including the Spa at The Grove Park Inn in Asheville and Ten Thousand Waves in Santa Fe.
They have interesting stories and have lived interesting lives, not only as health practitioners, but as parents, architects, dancers, designers and artists. We know them very well and they possess the utmost integrity. We hope that you enjoy their dedication to the craft the way we do.
